Quick Start Guide

The short version – for everything but shiitake. For shiitake please read… the long version.

Here’s the basic steps:

  • make small cut or cuts in still-sealed mushroom bag
  • put in a humid place or small enclosure at room temperature
  • maintain humidity by misting regularly
  • ensure fresh air and indirect light
  • harvest and enjoy

Of course it’s not quite this simple, and you are encouraged to read the full growing instructions for your particular species, but this is a good place to start!
